UKIP councillors signed up to online Direct Democracy platform

UKIP Alvaston Ward Councillors Alan Graves and John Evans have agreed to implement i-Direct for their ward.

i-Direct will enable UKIP Derby to deliver on their Direct Democracy pledge in the 2018 manifesto. It will provide a new Direct Democracy platform to the voters of Alvaston, Derby. The policy is designed to change the current out-dated democratic political system, to a new direct democratic system, based on technology.

It is easy for Alvaston residents to sign up:

1.       Register your account on www.idirect.org.uk

2.       Wait for a postcard with a six-digit pin ****** to activate your account

3.       Once your account is enabled you can debate and vote on policies.

4.       Councillors Alan Graves and John Evans of the Alvaston Ward have agreed to follow the majority in council.

With i-Direct platform; the electorate can no longer claim that politicians do not pay attention because i-Direct gives them the final say.

Founder of i-Direct Kirk Kus said that “I created i-Direct with a dream of a more democratic society; one that removes corruption and greed; one that gives power back to the people.”
